Out of State Recruiting Trips

These documents were provided to me by a community member who made an open records request to Tomball ISD.  They show only a few of the receipts from trips that district administrators made to Minnesota, Iowa, and Utah.

Flights, hotels, baggage fees, parking costs, toll roads, steak dinners, and $40 buffets were part of the costs of these trips.

Thank you, though.

The Office of the Attorney General of Texas has instructed the District to release the following documents to the community member who requested them. Superintendent Search

These documents were provided to me by a community member who made an open records request to Tomball ISD.

These documents show that the consultants hired from School Executive Consulting to perform the 2013 superintendent search had previous business relationships with the district prior to being chosen to conduct the superintendent search.

When the community member requested to see the bids from other consulting firms, as well as the results of the consulting firm's final recommendations, an attorney for the district appealed the request to the District Attorney of the State of Texas.
